Synapsis of The Grey's Dementia

What you are about to read is the result of several years of research, reading and listening to the accounts of too many people to count, and the input of several sources who will remain anonymous since I don't have their permission to use their names. It is also supported by what I have seen for myself with my own eyes, both in the Grey's procedures and their overall deteriorating condition.

The problem with genetically enhancing an entire species is the fact that you are changing many, many different genes for several purposes. There is always a certain percent of unpredictability as to how the overall genome structure will react. Certain steps can be taken to minimize the occurrence of undesired results, but the more changes that are made, the higher the odds for an unpredictable result becomes. Given a long enough time period in which genetic changes are made, the chance of the *Unpredictability Ratio being a contending factor becomes a certainty.

I'm sure you've heard of "Junk" DNA . The "Junk" DNA of a life form is the non-coding DNA that has accumulated over the generations of ancestors all lending their two cents into the genome of the life form. This means that the complete Genome of every single one of your ancestors is resting within the "Junk" DNA. Not only that, but "Junk" DNA also plays an important role in dictating how the "coded" DNA acts.

The active genome is not a static thing. Given the correct circumstances, the genes in the "Junk" DNA can affect the changed genome in unforseen ways. When you are constantly tampering with the DNA by inserting desirable genes to be implanted within the Genome or the cutting out of undesirable genes or manipulating them to cause them to become inactive all bets are off concerning how the Genome of the life form will react since the known rules and conditions of it's normal action and reaction have been compromised by the deliberate jerking around of the genetic make-up. The *Unpredictability Ratio increases with every alteration.

Somewhere along the line, the exact right genetic circumstances locked together (several genes working together at once and reacting in a way that was not foreseen and possibly creating the circumstances necessary for specific recessive genes to turn on or even mutate). Given the fact that this is a race-wide problem combined with the information above that is a brief summary on how genetic manipulation can react with the rest of the Genome points to the conclusion that race-wide genetic enhancements were employed and enough had been employed in the past to create the conditions that would allow for a homogenous reaction throughout the race.

The exact problem is with their digestive tracts and metabolisms. For some reason, they aren't absorbing nutrients like they should. Over time, the lack of nutrients will result in the deterioration of their neurological systems thus resulting in the Dementia. The trademark symptoms of the dementia are loss of emotional sensitivity and acuity, and severe lapses in judgment. (The Dementia is similar to Pick's Disease in Humans. )

Many abductees report seeing the Greys spread some kind of lotion-like substance on their skin that is often described as being a nutrient base that they absorb through their skin. It is often assumed that they do this because they no longer have digestive tracts. They do have digestive tracts, however they also use the nutrient base as a supplement so they can get nutrients straight to their bloodstream thus offsetting and delaying the onset of the Dementia.

When they tried to repair the problem by finding the genes responsible, they found that it was due to several factors combining together. They also found that, by performing mass genetic enhancement on their entire race, their sacrifice of genetic diversity was a mistake. (The sacrifice of genetic diversity was deliberate since they felt that less diversity would guarantee the prominence of the desirable genes in future generations.) While they could work to find a way to repair the problem, there was no guarantee that the same problem wouldn't appear again, or that a different, more severe problem wouldn't appear generations later (which is quite likely given the fact that the *Unpredictability Ratio had become ridiculously high at this point). The exact reason behind the spontaneous emergence of randomized genetic traits is due to the homogenization of their entire race through the enhancements. Their bodies attempt to mutate to create greater diversity within the gene pool (a basic tenet of evolution). So, naturally, a final and effective solution would be to artifically diversify their gene pool. Since they don't have much to work with in their own DNA and the deliberate activation of recessive traits in their own genome may prove disastrous or even impossible to execute to the degree necessary. (Also, just because something is turned on, doesn't mean it will stay turned on, nor does it mean that it will act the same way or react with other genes in a desirable manner due to how many changes have been instituted.)

This is where humanity comes into the picture. They came here for our genetics to repair their own and save themselves from extinction. However, there are many barriers to contend with when it comes to genetic compatibility. Through the creation of hybrids, they are able to learn about how different Human genes react with different Grey genes so that they may be able to navigate the two genomes to find the most stable and most advantageous ways in which to splice our genome into their own. Instead of keeping the hybrids in an embryonic state for experimentation or carrying out all genetic speculation in a theoretic manner, they find it to be more effective to raise the resulting Hybrids throughout their natural lives so that they can clearly see how they develop as people and so they can monitor any spontaneous mutation, explore exactly how and why different genes came together to create the life-form (viable or otherwise) and how different problems manifest.

In the first stages, many of the hybrids were unstable, inviable, and some simply wouldn't develop robustly if at all despite all intervention. They've found a way to create a more genetically stable hybrid in order to combat this problem and that way is by producing my people: the Exo-terrestrials. (a.k.a Metamorphic hybrids or Transgenic hybrids.) By both choosing and emphasizing human genes that they find desirable and by inoculating us with their own genetics, they create a specimen that is more compatible with their species and also is ideal for procreation. The more successfully they can procreate with us, the more successfully they can use our genome to enhance their own thus negating the overall problems that have arisen from their tampering with their own genome and eliminating them for good.

This is the short synapsis of the scientific and biological motives behind the abductions performed by the Greys. Keep in mind that this is the short version and it doesn't even begin to confront the political implications of this for any side of the matter: Human, Grey, Human/Grey Hybrid, or Exo-terrestrial (Metamorphic Hybrid/Transgenic hybrid).
